Gingham Summer Dress

Shop My Look: Dress (Gingham Tunic Dress)   Bag (Oversized Tote Bag)   Shoes (Jack Roger Lauren Sandal) Earrings (SUGARFIX by Baublebar Gold Hoop)

Gingham has quickly become one of my absolute favorite patterns for this spring. Throw in some bell sleeves and bow detailing and you’ve got the perfect little summer dress. You can make this dress as casual as you want, which I love! It would be perfect for a summer afternoon of errands, or if you’re headed to the beach. It is lightweight enough to keep you cool, but also thick enough to feel quality and help you stay worry free when you’re out in the sun!

The only negative I could comment on is that the fabric does feel slightly stiff, but that could very well be because I haven’t had time to break it in. Also, it’s right under nineteen dollars so can you really ask for anything more? To me, summer dresses get tossed around and worn so much that paying a heavy price tag really isn’t worth it when I’ll be ready to move on to a different style by next summer. So, if you’ve been looking for a casual springtime day dress, this one’s perfect!

I grabbed this oversized tote bag to store the essentials and thought it would be perfect for holding beach towels or to use if you are traveling! I will definitely get some use out of it this summer. The inside was surprisingly very soft and felt really sturdy. The tassel is removable, if you prefer it without.

Sugarfix by Baublebar has been putting out some great stuff lately.  I may have bought just a few too many earrings recently but just couldn’t resist when the prices are unbeatable. While there is a good amount on the Target website, I would highly recommend checking in store. I found these gold hoops for right under ten dollars and they are perfect! They go with practically anything and are so easy to wear.

If you are interested in this dress, don’t forget to sign up for a free month of Amazon Prime if you don’t already have it, to get free shipping and returns.

Xoxo, Marianna
